A mechanism providing different kinds of working with
         remote files through FTP access is being presented.
         The mechanism is implemented as an expansion of BASH -
         Bourne Again Shell and allows copying, moving,
         removing and editing of files through a connection to
         an FTP server on the remote host containing the files,
         along with tab completion of remote file- and pathnames.
         Specifications, solution methods and error handling
         are being discussed. A guide is supplied.
