Comparison with other LAN utilities
1. NetView, OpenView and other commercial MIB Browsers:
Those fine products, that represent the data really well, access it
fast and in fact are essential for Network Administration only
represent the part of the data this project does - the part between
the HUB slot to workstation NAME.
2. PatchView:
Again, this object, whatever fine is, only represent partial information,
between TO to HUB slot, and a large part of it should be inserted
manually into it.
3. Trapez and other building management programs:
Here we consider two main disadvantages of such programs their lack of
Command Line Interface and a need to insert all the data manually into
them.
