A mechanism providing a prototype for a monitoring system
         over a Local Area Network is being presented. The mechanism
         is implemented as an HTML - CGI - PERL - SNMP engine, installable
         on any kind of OS. It allows sampling of LAN states at any given
         moment of time, tracking the network connection of a malfunctioning
         LAN node and a User Interface (both Command-Line and Graphic).
         LAN management needs, High-Tech industry requirements, methods and
         algorithms of implementation are being discussed. A guide and a
         manifest of the source code is being supplied.
